I was really excited and couldn't wait to paint this because it reminded me of how much I wanted a horse when I was a child so to me this is my horse, it makes me smile to see children riding on a horses. We never had the space for one and today well I really like to look at them but don't think with my past experience I would ever get on one again, but hey everyone can dream about their childhood. So this is mine....
I have taken both mine and Carolyn Longmires photos and made a very loving scene of family. I can feel the love and excitement of the children. Mom is spending a no school day with the children and they are waiting for a turn on that very beautiful horse. What more could a child want. Sorry Scott I didn't have any photos of you so you must of had to work.
Thank you Carolyn for the use of your photos and the inspiration you have given me to paint such a lovely family scene. Your a great mom photos tell all.
