Acr458 Looking beyond the Bayshore Road, Hillsburn, 6 inches x 24 inches gallery canvas
I spent many of days going down to the shore on this
road. Two of my great childhood friends Mona and Tammy
lived on this road as well. I use to go on a hunt with my mom
seeing what we could find down on the shore. Many fond
memories walking down this road. The boats in the back
ground are the Ledge Runner, Back Again, Night Prowler
and the Hazel G.

Acr381 Walking Down Memory Lane, Hillsburn, Nova Scotia, Canada, 14 inches x 10 inches stretched canvas
Now this may not be exactly how it all was but here is me reminiscing.
Sitting on the stonewall talking with my friends was an occasion in itself. There were alot more ofus back in the day. I have seen as many as 20 hanging out on that old stonewall. Kinda sad the children of
today don't have as many playmates as we did there just isn't as many children around.
Then there was Carl and Loretta's we all gathered there to have a game of ball. I remember my brother having stitches in his head from a fall and me getting a big lump on my head running into another persons hard head. Most of the time it was alot of fun, I loved to play baseball. We also went skating on the pond in the winter behind the church. There was a whole bunch of us Mona, Tammy, Donna and the list goes on and on. The boys played hockey.
We all enjoy hanging out at Shelly and Larry's grocery store. They had a pool table and video games and lots of chocolate bars and junk food yahoo. What more could a teenager want.
When I had children I decided to take them back to the place I had fond memories growing up. I took them in back of the Hillsburn church to go pollywogging in the spring and skating in the winter. They had a grand time. I have such fond memories of Hillsburn.
Now for those of you who have a good memory unlike myself it maybe a bit different.
The only thing I have changed is where we played ball. I didn't have enough room to put us playing ball in the field beside Carl and Loretta's and I am not sure if the old church was there or the new.
I hope you enjoy because I have enjoyed remembering all of us.
Price of painting is $395.00
